Today, we, BI students, received the last ARW class.
Through ARW classes, I gained much knowledge about racism, and I really think that racism only creates the sadness of the minority.
I have to recognize the present situation about racism more and more, and must make many efforts to get rid of my prejudice about races.
It is difficult for us to change our thoughts about racism, but if we respect each other, we can make a new world where racism would not exist at all.

Ken, Thank you so much for teaching us a lot of things about race, essay, and English!
I hope you also enjoyed to spend your time with us:)
Thank you, again.

Congratulations!
I suppose that many of us submitted our essay:-)

I think today's P&D was very useful for us to know what other people saw as a discrimination and how they tried to treat with it.

Today's my group members are Mao, Mari, and Mio.
(All of our names start with "M"!)
Mao and Mari chose the problem which were related with disability people as their themes, and I had never had enough knowledge about it until today's their presentation. So after listening to them, I started to want to know about it more and more.
Mio's topic is Australian policies about Aboriginal people, and because I went to Australia during the summer vacation as a participant of SEA program and was taught about it a little bit, I really thought her topic was interesting.

Hello!
This is the first blog for me.

Our second essay is due on 8th November...tomorrow!
My essay's topis is "human trafficking."
Do you know human trafficking is one of  the biggest problem all over the world?
I chose this "human trafficking" as my essay theme because I was so surprised to know the fact that Japan was the main country where human trafficking was accepted.

I want you to watch these movies and think of human trafficking because they show the present situation about human trafficking in Haiti.
(These movies were broadcasted by ABC news.)
